Mid-Mitten Chapter meets on the first Wednesday of the month at 6:30-8:00pm at the Chippewa Nature Center at 400 S. Badour Rd in Midland. Open and free to the public. We are centrally located in the center of Michigan, with most members from Midland, Bay, Saginaw, Isabella, and nearby counties.
Mid-Mitten Wild Ones also gathers periodically for other activities, with field trips during summer months. We organize trips to tour natural areas and gardens. We have worked together to make native bee blocks and suet feeders to be sold at local events.
You can find our information booth at many local events such as the Dow Gardens Know and Grow Seminar in February and the Chippewa Nature Center’s Native Plant Sale in May.
